Pat O'Neil for Mayor

681: Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

Today, 681 of you put your faith in me as Mayor, and I am humbled by your support. Together, we managed a 200+ margin win, which sent a clear message about the direction our residents want to take Sullivan's Island. I want to congratulate my opponent Chauncey Clark for his efforts and thank him for his service on Town Council. I also want to congratulate our three new councilmembers: Scott Millimet, Justin Novak and Gary Vissers. As I said from the start, Sullivan's Island is at a crossroads, and we faced the most consequential election in years. Tonight, voters made it clear, they want Sullivan's Island to remain a "community," and to not become a "commodity." Let's all unite and work together toward the common good of the island we love. Thank you all,

Pat.

"At stake will be the mayor’s office, three council seats and the soul of Sullivan’s Island. Voters have a clear choice for mayor: Incumbent Pat O’Neil opposes the [maritime forest] settlement. Councilman Chauncey Clark supports it."
